  The Lindy 2 Port USB 3.0 Switch allows up to 2 users to share a USB 3.0 peripheral without the need to repeatedly swap cables or set up complicated network sharing software.

  The active computer port can be selected by push button. The switch is ideal for sharing a printer or scanner in a small office environment.

  The 2 Port USB 3.0 Switch is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices and supports all USB equipped computers – perfect for use at home with multiple PCs or Macs.

  

  Information about USB 3.0, 3.1 & 3.2

  USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and USB 3.2 PCs, cables and devices are all compatible with each other, when using either a USB Type A or USB Type C host interface.
  USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 1 all support data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps.
  USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 both support data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps.
